One beautiful Sunday we met with the band at an outdoor rehearsal.
After listening for a few minutes, we decided to hook up a laptop to the mixer and make a recording.
Because of our previous experience, we chose to group the mixer channels into four ‘subs’. We manually live mixed (aka ‘gain-riding’) the performance, then in the ‘edit’ we were able to make minor ‘tweaks’ resulting in a very nice recording.
